This week at Awesome Club, we celebrated a great end to 2010. After sharing some holiday snacks and chatting about our plans for winter break, we sat in a circle, eying up all of the beautifully-wrapped presents in the center. The "white elephant" gift exchange was a huge hit! There were a lot of laughs and an unbelievable amount of present-swapping. Some of the most-traveled gifts included a Lady Gaga CD and a light-up snowman ornament, both of which were obviously in high demand! In the end, everyone found a good use for their gift, be it a tasty snack, a cute desk decoration, or simply a funny reminder of the Awesome Club holiday party. The St. Olaf students will be back in January for more exciting times at Awesome Club, but until then, we hope that everyone has a wonderful winter break and a happy holiday season!
