National Foundation for Transplants Benefit
After my meeting with Angie's Kettle Corn, I headed to Mankato Ribfest and enjoyed a DELICIOUS pulled pork sandwich from Barbeque Co. Every year, vendors from all over the U.S. come to sell their ribs and other barbeque delicacies at this community event. I wish I could have tried food from all of them! After indulging in my delicious sandwich, I took some photos with vendors and spent some time catching up with Stunt Monkey from Radio Mankato! Thank you to Shelly Bartlett for being my chaperone that day!
Miss South Central & Miss Waseca Co. Sleigh & Cutter
Emcee or not, however, it was great to be back in Waseca. This year was my fourth year on the Waseca Pageants stage. I was crowned Miss South Central in 2008, I passed my title onto Aja Majkrzak in 2009, I was invited to emcee for the anniversary in 2010, and I had the honor of coming back this year as Miss Minnesota. Waseca is like a second home to me. The committee is like family to me. I had such a wonderful time catching up with some people who have been hugely supportive of me during the past three years.
Congratulations on their incredible years of service as Miss South Central and Miss Waseca County. I hope you see these ladies compete with the Miss America Organization again!

Vikings Training Camp
Now, back to Angie's Kettle Corn: As I mentioned before, I met with Angie's Kettle Corn the other day. They have been incredible sponsors of the Miss Mankato Organization for years, giving us their product to sell at our pageant to raise scholarship money. Angie's Kettle Corn has always made it a priority to support people whose goal is to be their best. I am so thankful for the support they have offered to give me on my journey to Miss America and to the Miss Minnesota Organization. In exchange, I have offered to be a spokesperson for their product. On Monday, they invited me to the Vikings Training Camp to distribute free samples of Angie's Kettle Corn.
