Miss Minnesota's Outstanding Teen 2006

The national Miss America's Outstanding Teen program was organized under the umbrella of the Miss America Organization to encourage positive achievement by helping to nurture and build scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living and community involvement in our nation's youth.
Natalie held the title of Miss Minnesota's Outstanding Teen in 2006. It was only her second pageant. Shortly after winning her title, Natalie headed to Orlando, Florida where she competed for the national title of Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2007. Of the 52 contestants, she was selected to receive the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award. She was also a scholarship recipient for the first grade reading program she implemented at Dassel Elementary School in conjunction with the U.S. Dream Academy.
